We’ve been featured in Business Insider as one of the top farm-stay vacation in the U.S.!
As the novel coronavirus continues to make travel a challenge, vacationers are gravitating towards getaways with fresh air, bucolic scenery, and ample room for physical distancing. Unique accommodations from treehouses to airstreams are garnering attention, and the latest trend includes farm stay vacation.
For city dwellers, it’s an experiential way to get back to the land. The hosting farmers tend to be a welcoming bunch who are proud to show visitors the field-to-fork connection. Though you’re not required to work during a farm stay vacation, it’s a golden opportunity to gather just-laid eggs, pick ripe tomatoes off the vine, and toil in the soil. If you’re traveling with children, the access to fresh fruit, veggies, and eggs is a low-stress way to encourage them towards food choices that don’t come wrapped in cellophane.
